Found by metal detector around 2000 at Ypres (Belgium) scene of some of the most intense fighting with English and French bringing the German advance to a stalemate. Made of aluminum salvaged from ordnance. Size 10 3/4 with rounded broad 5.9mm, impressed with a single star burst simulating a stone. Light gray surface oxidation.
