Intricately made of forged iron demonstrating the superior skills and metallurgical knowledge of the Viking craftsmen. Just under 1 ¼” height, the size of a half dollar coin (remember those?). Cylindrical drum with forged on reinforcing bands and circular shank. One end pierced for a key. Incredibly intricate scale. Stabilized oxidation to the surface with small rust damage to the underside as shown.
