From a group found in the Baltic hinterland. A variant of the type classified in Typology of Fire Starters from the Viking Age Norway (http://sagy.vikingove.cz/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/Norwegian-fire-strikers.pdf) identified as Rygh 426. Iron, just over 3” length, with striking bar of conventional form and one end curled to form a finger stall. Excellent preservation
