Round, with ridged edge, the front of thicker section. Both sides ridged, of diamond cross section. 0.44” inside diameter and 0.67 outside. The use of beard rings by Vikings is well documented though very few genuine examples survive. Professionally refurbished for modern wear with the silver overlay restored.
