Carved from cow horn, 5 ½” length. See Collector’s Illustrated Encyclopedia of the American Revolution, Neumann. P.108 #8, right. The end of the handle drilled and notched underneath forming a whistle. Age checks throughout and the underside of the bowl delaminating but intact.
