Traditional weapon of the Nilotic Turkana of East Africa. Oval iron of uniform thickness. 4 1/2" width with sharpened outer edge resting in a copper tipped goat skin cover. Matching liner inside. An old cloth strip wrapping each side, indicating that the owner has died and the weapon is disarmed. Good old example.
