Mahdist War of 1885. Finely forged medially ridged blade, just under 7”, forged from a file, probably stolen. Medially ridged hourglass form wood grip. Shows great age and use with scattered stable oxidation speckles to the blade. Grip shows wear to the projections and glossy patina. Exceptional age character.
