SPANISH DAGGER C.1800

Produced in Albacete. Large example with 9 1/2" blade of thick section, pierced with an elongated key with brass inset slot flanked by circles. Elongated diamond section guard. Vertically lined barrel shaped bone grip. Truncated conical terminals pierced with circles and flanked by delicately engraved bands in linear and scalloped motifs. Well-worn with several of the bone segments lacking from the grip. Blade quite smooth with scattered pitting.
