This is a shard (broken fragment) from a Roman green glass vessel of the Imperial Period. It is about 1” (1.04”) high, curved with a raised rounded band. It has the characteristic iridescent oxidation of ancient glass. It has been drilled and suspended from an 18” silver neck chain for modern wear. It is gift boxed with certificate of authenticity.
