20” length with well carved wood grip with stylized bird head pommel and banded iron ferrule. Reversed iron cross guard. Curved wedge section blade with raised false edge and cusped terminal. Rectangular forte stepped to the edge. The back with band of “eyebrow” figured and the tip engraved with a pair of cannons flanking a Christian cross on diamond base. Some forged lamination to the edge. Excellent with fine patina throughout.
