4” width comprising an iron bar mounted with five claw-like blades and surmounted by two finger loops. The left loop is slightly larger for the fore finger and the right for the small finger. Concealed in the palm, it was used by assassins and thieves (Stone p.860 ) for clandestine attacks, slashing primarily the throat and carotid arteries. Death was immediate and concealed as a tiger attack. Quite crisp with superficial surface rust. Very rarely on the market.
