The term Saracen dates to the 7th century and by the time of the crusades was synonymous with Muslim, the Crusader’s adversary. Of classic profile, according with the flesh cutting arrows on this site. This example uniquely of flesh cutting form and thickness. The majority of Crusaders were lightly protected foot  soldiers, susceptible these arrows. Finely forged 1 3/4” length with tapered tang for mounting to a cane shaft. Excellent, near crisp condition
