RARE COPPER VIKING WEDDING RING, 900-1050 AD, SIZE 10 ½

Size 10 1/2. Broad 6.8mm width band, with low rounded face. Dark brown patina as found and now with an industrial sealant overall. Vikings were expert metallurgists. The use of pure copper is rare and suggests a supernatural significance as alloys were much more durable. Gift boxed with certificate of authenticity. Vikings exchanged rings on the pommel of the groom’s sword. Rare wearable size.
