17th-18th century. Bronze, size 8 ¾. Deeply rounded band flaring to the shoulders. Oval bezel with three lines Arabic inscription. The spacing, with the last quite crowded, suggests that they were applied at three separate times, perhaps battle honors. Excellent patina with light wear from use.
