16th-17th century. Bronze originally gold plated. Size 9, the rounded face band a little distorted, not affecting wearability. Large raised clipped corner rectangular bezel with Islamic inscription, probably the owner’s name. Minor wear and good patina. Dating to the period of Suleiman the Magnificent and Ottoman conquests of Eastern Europe, North Africa and the Caucasus.
