The period was known as the Dark Ages after the fall of the Roman Empire. Bronze, size about 9 with 4.3mm rounded face band flaring to the shoulders. Oval bezel, canted to the band, with a variation of the familiar Star of Bethlehem” as popular for rings of the period. The center of more diamond shape with double line cross superimposed combining the two sacred images. Condition as found with dark patina and medium surface encrustation. Gift boxed with certification of authenticity.
