9th-10th century AD. Diamond form bezel with concentric circle decoration, four, the central two adjoined, possibly doubling as the “evil eye”. See Ancient Rings, Pollio, p.42. 3.4mm rounded face band slightly flared to the chevron-decorated shoulders. Good example in a rare large size, probably for a clan leader. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold surface restored. Gift boxed with certificate of authenticity.
