19th century. Fine quality with 25 1/4 broad, s.e. blade, expanding from the forte with broad beveled edge to the right side. The center with an eye mark and the forte in geometric panels surmounted by a cross on half globe. Natural horn disk guard and faceted iron grip with finely carved deity head iron wood pommel. The face with upturned nose. Decorated behind with finely incised geometric and matrix panels. Crisp excellent condition throughout. A very finely made weapon with the largest blade in our experience See Macao Museum of Art, #204 for a similar example with less full form blade in deteriorated condition.
