19th century. 6 3/4" wedge section blade shows original tool finish under old preservative. Brazed seam iron ferrule to the slightly swelled medial wood grip. Two piece scabbard of matching wood with well figured throat and original split cane binding. Grip and scabbard shows good deep patina with light encrustation from handling. Completely undamaged.
