Styled as a knightly sword of about 1300 with straight cross guard, wheel pommel and tapered diamond section blade. Integrally cast as the sword in its scabbard with belt hook. Wood grip. Beautifully detailed in a blaze of colors, now genuinely aged and faded to an unparalleled character and patina. 38” overall. Likely made to hang over a knight’s tomb replacing his original sword which was removed owing to its value. Must be seen to be fully appreciated!
