Edo Period. An exceptionally heavy example about 20% thicker than ordinarily encountered. 36 3/8” length. Cane shaft with self nock. Triple fletching (excellent for the period) and tsube me guchi (sparrow beak) form point. Rare heavy example, probably dating to the earlier part of the Edo Period.
