Early example which probably served in a Russo-Japanese War of 1904, as well as serving in WWII. Good quality hilt well detailed in deep relief and pierced. Wire wrapped black natural horn grip. 32 1/4” unplated blade of traditional section with gray patina in original preservative. Iron scabbard with light gray oxidation and no dents. Rare long blade length suggesting an officer of exceptional stature.
