Mid 19th century. 7 1/2” d.e. blade of thick section with deep offset fullers. Black horn scale grips, the pommel mounted with a six point foliate star. The blade with thickened edge band with an oval blue stone in a beaded bezel. The scabbard with matching top mount with matching, larger stone mount, leather covered body and acorn finial bottom mount. Leather shows a few small blemishes. Scabbard and hilt mounts with heavy gold overlay in protected areas. Blade crisp with original tool finish.
