Forged iron, 5" height with 3-3 nail arrangement, made without nail groove. Two nail holes, with low bulge and early Medieval “pie crust” edge. Chisel edge integral calkins, probably indicating use in rocky terrain, perhaps the Alps. Characteristic broad form. Excavated with the stable surface.
