Brass hilt with lion head pommel. P form guard with high relief foliage and classical motifs. Large square langets, the right with crossed cannons. Silver wire wrapped black leather covered grip. 30 3/8" broad fullered clipped point blade, unmarked. Black field scabbard. Excellent with expected minor flaws. The grip leather slightly congealed. Blade with spotty smooth staining and some very light scratches in the percussion area. Unusually heavy example definitely made for fighting.
