Items #590-#593 are fine buff terracotta heads and busts from Egyptian burial figures C.300 showing distinct Roman and Greek influence. Each is finely sculpted and characterfully executed, evidently depicting specific individuals, and was originally painted. Surfaces are now lightly worn with only a few remnants of painted finish. Each is mounted on a Plexiglas base. These were purchased decades ago and in our own collection until now. Full figures would be valued in the thousands. Fine sensitive facial features. Creamy buff coloration and good preservation. 1.9" plus mount.
