This example with 32 1/8" curved broad fullered blade decorated with foliage and military trophies. The base with maker's name Weyersberg Brothers in Solingen. Brass hilt with lion head pommel and stirrup form guard, the cross guard stamped with issue number. Wire wrapped leather covered grip. Hilt shows some nicks to the guard and back strap. Grip about excellent. Blade shows smooth medium gray patina with crisp decoration. A few small pitting marks along the back and the last 7" at the point with scattered pockmarks pitting, all strictly consistent with its age and use.
