Two piece gorget with pivot and nub lock. Both plated with raised neck and rolled edges. The front plate with T slot for the spaulder key and working life repair to the peak. Four spaulder plates each side to protect the upper arms. Matched in pairs, they appear to be associated, possibly during their time of use, which was common, or later. Almain collars were elements of munition grade armor worn by infantry, pikemen and light cavalry. Those armors were stored in town arsenals and repaired, and refurbished as needed. Fine for display for a helmet of the period.
