This is the original and we have been unable to find another original for sale or otherwise except for the companion example in the British Museum. 1810 was a pivotal year for George. At the height of his popularity, his physical and mental health was deteriorating. The next year he was displaced by the Regency Act of 1811 which conferred the power of the throne on the Prince of Wales. 9 ½” x 12 ¾” framed to 13” x 17” with gilt mat liner.
