The pommel with a bee each side, the Bonaparte family symbol, relating here to Napoleon III (Napoleon’s nephew). Fine mother of pearl grips. 28 3/4” hollow-faced triangular blade decorated with trophies or arms and foliage in gold on blue, both with some age fading, first half. Excellent quality with fine deep relief modeling to the hilt and great age character.
