Sleeve button from a trooper of the 2nd Regiment of Line commanded by Colonel Jean Trippe. 5/8" diameter, bronze. Crisp with a short battle cut (sword?) and the back loop lacking. Probably cut from the uniform. Acquired in the 1980s by Derek Saunders for the Waterloo Museum, from descendants of the original finders. Probably buried for less than 20 years.
