One piece forged iron, 14 pounds. Finely formed with rolled bottom edge and flared edges to the arms and neck. Forged with a drop hammer. The Inside with a distinct hammer texture. The hook mounts to the inside for securing the padded liner. The left shoulder (inside) with regimental marks and serial number. Excellent with fine glossy patina.
