This item is from the Waterloo Museum Collection in Broadstairs, Kent, England. The contents of the museum were sold in 1992 after the untimely death of its founder, Derek Spaulding. Each is accompanied by certificate of authenticity. 5/8" diameter with simplified wreath surrounding crossed cannons and cannon ball above. Single back loop. Two edge flakes not affecting the relief motif, and slight surface degradation. Napoleon was an artillery officer and his over reliance on artillery is considered a major contributor to the defeat at Waterloo. Rare.
