Rectangular flanking panels, each as a saltire in five circle cluster with parallel crescents to the corners. The terminals combining elements of both with a chevron/triangle end. All of these elements are well known in Viking decoration and almost certainly have astrological and supernatural significance. 2 3/8” inside dimension. Lightly textured from burial as shown and expected. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold surface restored. Handcrafted and worn by a Viking 1000 years ago!
