Valley of Mexico, Toltec C.100 BC-800 AD. Over 1” (1.10”), finely flaked obsidian of particularly thin section with flared/notched base. Selected jet black stone. Probably a votive (sacrificial gift to the Gods). Toltec history is still the subject of some controversy among experts, so this item can most conservatively be described as "Valley of Mexico, 1000 BC - 800 AD".
