Round brass body, 7 ½” diameter with a domed front. The cylindrical spout and scrolling suspension lugs. The bottom with a pierced segment suspended with red beads. The front with 8 coins with Arabic (hriji) dates in the 1280s translating to the 1870’-80’s. Built up central medallion with a green stone and large raised medallion to the back. Fine uniform aging throughout but undamaged and complete but for the stopper. An exceptionally large example of elegant form. Dateable, in excellent preservation.
