Sleeve button from a trooper of the 85th Regiment of Line commanded by Colonel Andre Pierre Masson. 5/8" diameter, bronze. Particularly crisp and excellent with “birdcage” back loop intact. Acquired in the 1980s by Derek Saunders for the Waterloo Museum, from descendants of the original finders. Probably collected immediately after the battle.
