Faceted urn form pommel and silver wire wrapped grip. 32” broad fullered spadroon form blade decorated with crowned GR cipher, arms of England, foliage, sword on branch, flag and OSBORNS WARRANTED in ribbons on opposite sides. The blade of good fighting weight. Original gilt brass mounted leather scabbard complete and undamaged but for minor flaking of the congealed surface. Hilt with about 85% of its bright gold with losses to the shell centers and pommel top as expected. Excellent quality in superior condition.
