13 ¼” three wavy blade with finely patterned nickel lamination in whorl and meandering configuration. Smooth with contrasting chemical finish. Minimal oxidation/lamination grain speckles. A fine old blade in excellent preservation. As with virtually all of these, the mounts are newer, 20th century. The hilt and scabbard throat are finely carved. The hilt as a demon with dog like face and foliate body. The mendak (base mount) is gilt and set with blue and white “stones”. The scabbard stem is encased in silvered brass, finely decorated in high relief, pierced and set with three “stones”. Very impressive.
