Original felt line plated scabbard decorated with foliage and the makers name repeated. Original leather belt tab. The knife virtually mint with 100% bright polish to the blade. The scabbard with slight discoloration the ground of the decoration only. Carl Wahlfrid Dahlgren was active as knifemaker from 1870 to 1915 with a large production facility producing knives of various patterns. The surviving examples of this pattern which we found were priced $250-800, but none was comparable to this example for condition or completeness
