Gothic, northern European (Flanders, Netherlands, Germanic states). Gilt bronze, of thick domed form with domed center and shore trefoil form beams of equal length. The form descended from the Jerusalem cross of the Crusades with “crutches” on the beam ends forming five crosses in one.
