See Neumann 120.PA identified as German. 81 1/2" length. Iron head of elegant form with medial ridged trowel shaped point and scalloped bolster. Cross bar with recurved tips and triple ringed tapered socket with long cheek straps. Octagonal oak haft. Head quite crisp with salt and pepper pitting overall. Haft with good patina, and scattered worm holes. Type which served in colonial America through the Revolution.
