EUROPEAN LADY’S FASHION RING C.1700-1800, SIZE 6 ¾

Made in three pieces reflecting the advanced production methods brought by the Industrial Revolution. 2.2mm band of two members joined at the bottom, flaring to the top and mounted with transverse oval flanked by saddled supports. Excellent preservation. Gilt bronze (?). Ex: Fulbeck Hall, Lincolnshire England, ancestral home of the Fane family since 1632. Sold Sotheby’s sale of the estate in October 2002. Gift boxed with certificate of authenticity.
