23 1/4" d.e. blade etched with foliage and a prancing stag at the forte. Brass hilt with high relief foliage decoration to the recurved cross guard. Banded rainproof base mount and banded ferrule and pommel cap to the copper wire wrapped grip. Hilt excellent with light wear and good patina. Blade shows scattered pitting, mostly to the medial with wear to the base panels. Clearly a weapon which saw regular use as a civilian sidearm.
