Iron, 5 ½” overall with slender heel arms, each with a double pierced terminal. Short shank with large pyramidal prick terminal. Rust textured but sound and complete. See Der Sporn, table V #7 for a virtually identical example identified as Crusades, 1100-1200 AD. Very rare, particularly in complete preservation.
