ENGLISH SWEETHEART OR WEDDING RING, TUDOR PERIOD, SIZE 8 ½

16th-early 17th century. Bronze, large size 8 1/2. 31.9mm rounded face band with finely sculpted raised rose to the center. While bearding six petals, the rose is surely a reference to the Tudor rose, though copying it directly without authority would not have been done. Excellent as found condition.
