Napoleonic period c.1800-15. 5 ½” x 6” x11 ½”. Veneered in flame mahogany with banded corners. Inset lock. The interior in three compartments. Original lid to the right compartment. The left lacking. The primary veneer intact with the edge banding only lacking in places. Restorable as these sell for about $500 complete. Tea was an expensive luxury and kept locked.
