Late Period, 664-332 BC. 5" height with elegantly formed body of selected striated alabaster. Cylindrical neck with an incised line. A few checks and cracks with two triangular restorations (1/4" and 1") professionally done. Made for storing scented oil used for bathing and perfume. These were considered very personal items and thus were frequently buried with their owners.
