Premium quality with opened beak eagle and profuse decoration to the guard including the edges of the cross guard. Reeded bone grip. 28 1/4" spadroon form blade decorated with foliage and flag motif. The blade back with leafy tendril. Blade bright with decoration crisp and a few very small edge nicks. Brass scabbard hand engraved with stylized foliage. The reverse stamped with maker's name HORSTMANN. Superior quality and excellent preservation.
