First quarter of the 13th century. Fourth Crusade period which took place primarily in Byzantium, fought largely by French Crusaders. 7 7/8" length, wedge section blade. Broad exposed wedge section tang with four pierced holes for scale grips. Excellent excavated condition, on Plexiglas display easel with certificate of authenticity. The blade with particularly good profile.
